It was a pleasure to meet staff at Hong Fook Mental Health Association (which translates to “Health and Felicity”) across from Fairview Mall and learn about the mental health services and care they offer to improve quality of life in our community.

It was a pleasure to acknowledge Nagi and his family’s hardwork and community spirit that’s made their Timmie’s in the Pickle Barrel plaza loved by all neighbours. Congratulations on their 20th anniversary and best wishes for many more to come!

It was a pleasure to meet the staff and Canada Summer Jobs students at the @YMCAGTA at North York St Timothy. They teach kids foundational skills so they can learn, grow, and thrive.

It was an absolute joy to see all our neighbours at the Back to School Park Pop-Up in Bayview Village Park. Wishing kids, teachers, and staff a terrific first day back to school! Big shout-out to @TPS33Div @BVAssociation @TIRFrugby for joining and bringing our community together.

I was thrilled to see the work that goes on behind the scenes at IKEA and meet the wonderful staff that keeps this place running so well. They opened in 1987 and been a community staple ever since. If you’re anything like me you didn’t make it past the frozen yogurt.

It was a pleasure to chat with neighbours at our Park pop-up in Cresthaven Park about how we can keep making DVN a better place for everyone. Bit of weather but a bit of weather isn’t going to stop Don Valley Northerners. Love everyone for coming to say hi and share ideas!

It was a pleasure meeting the Canada Summer Jobs students at @TIRFrugby to learn about how they’re using rugby as a tool to help make our communities more happy, healthy, and vibrant. I broke the tackle line, goose stepped off my left foot, fended my way over the try line.
