It was a pleasure to join @gregorrobertson at @UofT to learn about how the uni is building quality student residences to support academic success and a sense of community. Our government is working to unlock the sector to build housing at a faster rate than ever before.

It was a pleasure visiting the Gibson long term care residence with @PattyHajdu @lesliechurch and Tyler Downey, President @SEIUHealthCan to acknowledge and celebrate the dedicated staffs that work tirelessly to care for their residents.

It was a pleasure joining the end of summer celebration at Allenbury Gardens. Thanks to Chad, Alexis, and all the neighbours organizing to get the community together for some great chats and tasty barbecue.

It was a pleasure to join @PattyHajdu to announce over $26 million in funding to support youth employment and skills development. It was great meeting young Canadians that have gained practical skills from these programs and I look forward to seeing what they accomplish next.

It was a pleasure to meet staff at Hong Fook Mental Health Association (which translates to “Health and Felicity”) across from Fairview Mall and learn about the mental health services and care they offer to improve quality of life in our community.

It was a pleasure to meet families and the staff at @RMHCCanada and learn about how for over 40 years they’ve been providing resources like space, meals, mental health and sibling support for families to stay close together while their children get the health care they need.

It was a pleasure to acknowledge Nagi and his family’s hardwork and community spirit that’s made their Timmie’s in the Pickle Barrel plaza loved by all neighbours. Congratulations on their 20th anniversary and best wishes for many more to come!

I was a pleasure to tour the Apotex facility in North York and learn about how they’re working on improving access to affordable medicines for Canadians.

It was a pleasure to meet the staff and Canada Summer Jobs students at the @YMCAGTA at North York St Timothy. They teach kids foundational skills so they can learn, grow, and thrive.
