Thank you to all the members of the Canadian Armed Forces for safeguarding our peace and security. I’m proud to be part of a government that has implemented the largest pay raise for Canadian Armed Forces Members in a generation, including a 20% raise in starting pay.

It was a pleasure meeting the staff and the Canada Summer Jobs students at @summerlunchplus who are building food skills and healthy habits, empowering kids to share what they learn with family and friends.

Our government will protect sectors and jobs facing tariffs like lumber, steel, aluminum, and autos. We’re focused on building one Canadian economy and a series of major nation-building projects. A very powerful tool we all control is to Buy Canadian as much as possible.

It was a pleasure to join @MonaFortier, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and meet the team at @CentrefrancoT to learn about their programs offered to Francophones across the GTA, including right here in DVN.

It was great learning about the developments and breakthroughs happening in dementia science at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference. It’s the world’s largest annual gathering of the dementia research community, right here in Toronto.

It was a pleasure to join @gregorrobertson and @vgasparro to announce over $81 million in funding to support the construction of 159 new rental homes at 3101 Bathurst Street. We’re increasing housing supply and creating jobs to build Canada Strong.

I was thrilled to announce $39 million in funding to advance research on dementia and healthy aging, on behalf of @MarjoriePLC Hon. Marjorie Michel, Minister of Health. We are helping to build a stronger foundation for brain health and a healthier future for Canadians. More info here.

Since 1989, @iwontario has been assisting women, families, and members of the broader immigrant communities. It was a pleasure meeting the incredible women offering a welcoming space, educational programs, a mental health clinic, and community-building programs, right here in DVN.

It was a pleasure meeting staff and volunteers from the Sonshine Day Camp at the Don Valley Bible Chapel. With federal support through our Summer Jobs funding, they’re providing daily programs for children while parents are working.
