Today is Personal Support Workers Day and we recognize and celebrate the incredible PSWs who are the backbone of the home, community care, and long-term care systems that look after some of our most vulnerable.

It was a pleasure touring @ventureLABca facilities and seeing their wall of patents. It was great to learn about their medtech startups and how ventureLAB leverages federal government investments to help founders in Canada build and scale to compete globally.  

Healthy and connected seniors build stronger communities. That’s why our government provides grants to wonderful community groups like @BVAssociation New Horizons to support projects that are designed by seniors, for seniors, to empower seniors to connect in their communities.

We join Tamil communities in Canada and around the world in commemorating Tamil Genocide Rememberance Day to honour the tens of thousands of lives lost during the Sri Lankan Civil War and stand with the families of the survivors.

It was a pleasure to join Toronto Caucus members and leaders from across Ontario and make our case for Toronto to host the headquarters of the Defence, Security and Resilience Bank.

It was a pleasure to visit a @TPS33Div Police Week event at Fairview Mall where along with community partners @CanadianTire , they showcased anti-auto theft products and answered questions about theft prevention.

Young people are eager to gain experience and employers are looking for talent, that’s why our government continues to support opportunities through the Canada Summer Jobs Bank that’s helping create thousands of jobs for youth across Don Valley North and Toronto.

Team Canada Strong is our plan, backed by up to $6 billion, to train and hire up to 100,000 new Red Seal skilled trade workers by 2031. This will create opportunities for young Canadians to build our country; from major infrastructure projects to new housing across the country. It was an honour to join the Polish Constitution Day Parade hosted by @CanPolCongress and celebrate Polish Heritage Month with Ambassador @WitoldDzielski @PLinToronto , Senator @Adbodnar , and my good friend MP @j_maloney

It was a pleasure to join the seniors at Cliffwood Manor for their Mother’s Day celebration. Wonderful to see residents staying active and connected with the community through song and dance.
