During National Police Week (May 10 to May 16), we recognize and thank the law enforcement officers here in Don Valley North @TPS33Div and across Canada for their professionalism and dedication to protecting our communities.

It was a pleasure to join the @MSCanOfficial Parliamentary Reception, on behalf of Parliamentary Secretary @mckelvieAJAX. May is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month and it’s an opportunity to raise awareness and support Canadians affected by MS.

It was a pleasure to join the 28th Annual Chief of Police Dinner with @TPSMyronDemkiw, Toronto Crime Stoppers, the @TPAca and the policing community, @j_maloney and @shelleycarroll, and community leaders to celebrate another year of partnership to keep our communities safe.

Today on Red Dress Day, we join communities across Canada in remembering Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQI+ people. It’s a reminder of the ongoing violence faced by Indigenous communities and our shared responsibility to work towards justice.

May marks Polish Heritage Month and it’s an opportunity to celebrate Canadians of Polish descent and acknowledge their significant contributions to our nation. Big shout-out to my good friend @PeterFonsecaMP for leading the effort that brought this official designation!

It was a pleasure to join with my colleagues for the @CMHA_NTL launch of Mental Health Week. This May 4 to May 10 we recognize the role we all play in strengthening mental health, building healthier communities, and helping more people feel connected.

It was a pleasure to discuss with @TPAca key priorities and how we can work together to strengthen public safety across our community. Everyday their members are prepared to put their lives on the line to keep us safe and I thank them for their service.

Members of Parliament came together to honour the lives lost in the Armenian Genocide 111 years ago and pay tribute to the Armenian people. We recommitted to always remember so that such atrocities are never repeated.
