April 28 is Canada’s National Day of Mourning to honour workers who have lost their lives, been injured, or fallen ill because of their work. Our government is committed to the goal that every Canadian worker goes home safe and healthy at the end of the day.

It was a pleasure meeting with members of @TPFFA and welcoming the @IAFFofficial to Ottawa. Everyday they’re prepared to run into danger to save lives and livelihoods and we owe them a debt of gratitude and I’m proud to support them across Canada.

Today, on Armenian Genocide Memorial Day, Medz Yeghern, we honour and commemorate the victims of the Armenian Genocide. We commit to never forgetting the atrocities against the Armenian people so they are never repeated.
