May marks Polish Heritage Month and it’s an opportunity to celebrate Canadians of Polish descent and acknowledge their significant contributions to our nation. Big shout-out to my good friend @PeterFonsecaMP for leading the effort that brought this official designation!

It was a pleasure to join with my colleagues for the @CMHA_NTL launch of Mental Health Week. This May 4 to May 10 we recognize the role we all play in strengthening mental health, building healthier communities, and helping more people feel connected.

It was a pleasure to discuss with @TPAca key priorities and how we can work together to strengthen public safety across our community. Everyday their members are prepared to put their lives on the line to keep us safe and I thank them for their service.

April 28 is Canada’s National Day of Mourning to honour workers who have lost their lives, been injured, or fallen ill because of their work. Our government is committed to the goal that every Canadian worker goes home safe and healthy at the end of the day.
